Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Valtiq (“Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These Terms apply to all users, including visitors, registered account holders, and paying customers.

“Valtiq”, “we”, “us”, or “our” refers to the company operating the Valtiq platform. “You” or “User” refers to any individual or entity using the Service.

2. Description of Service

Valtiq provides AI-powered business valuation reports for private companies. Upon payment, you submit business information (financial metrics, industry, description) and receive a written valuation report generated by our proprietary AI model. Reports are delivered digitally within approximately 10 minutes of submission.

The Service is intended for informational and strategic planning purposes only. It does not constitute financial advice, investment advice, legal advice, or any professional advisory service regulated by financial authorities.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts to use this Service. By using Valtiq, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements. The Service is intended for business owners, executives, investors, and advisors evaluating private company value.

4. Accounts

You may use Valtiq with or without creating an account. If you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use at hello@valtiq.com.

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep this information up to date.

5. Payment and Refund Policy

Pricing

The current price for a single valuation report is $99 USD (one-time payment). No subscription, retainer, or recurring charge applies. Prices are subject to change; any price change will be communicated before you are charged.

Payment processing

Payments are processed by Stripe. By submitting payment, you agree to Stripe’s terms of service. Valtiq does not store your card details.

Refunds

Because Valtiq delivers a custom-generated digital report within minutes of payment, all sales are generally final. However, we will issue a full refund in the following circumstances:

  • The report was not delivered within 24 hours of confirmed payment due to a technical fault on our end.
  • The report was clearly generated with fundamentally incorrect inputs due to a platform error (not user error).
  • A duplicate charge occurred due to a payment processing error.

To request a refund, email hello@valtiq.com within 7 days of purchase with your order details. We aim to respond within 2 business days.

6. Important Disclaimer — Not Financial Advice

Please read this section carefully.

Valtiq reports are generated by an AI model and are provided for informational and strategic planning purposes only. They do not constitute:

  • A formal business appraisal or certified valuation under any professional standard (USPAP, IVS, or equivalent).
  • Financial, investment, tax, or legal advice.
  • A fairness opinion or transaction recommendation.
  • A guarantee of the price at which your business could be sold.

Actual transaction values depend on factors outside the scope of this report, including but not limited to: buyer-specific synergies, deal structure, negotiation, due diligence findings, market conditions at time of sale, and legal or regulatory considerations.

You should not rely solely on a Valtiq report to make material financial decisions. We strongly recommend engaging a licensed M&A advisor, investment banker, or Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) before entering a transaction.

7. Accuracy of Information You Provide

The quality and accuracy of your valuation report is directly dependent on the accuracy of the information you provide. You represent and warrant that all financial figures, business descriptions, and other information you submit are materially accurate to the best of your knowledge. Valtiq is not responsible for reports that reflect inaccurate inputs provided by you.

8. Intellectual Property

Your report

The valuation report generated for you is licensed to you for your personal and internal business use. You may share it with advisors, potential buyers, or investors in the context of a transaction or strategic process. You may not resell, republish, or represent a Valtiq report as your own work product to third parties in a commercial context.

Valtiq platform

All software, design, methodology, and content comprising the Valtiq platform — excluding the specific content of your individual report — is the exclusive property of Valtiq and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works from the platform.

9. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
  • Submit false or deliberately misleading financial information.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the platform or other users’ data.
  • Use automated tools, scrapers, or bots to access the Service without express written permission.
  • Resell or commercially redistribute report content generated by the Service.
  • Use the Service in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the platform or its infrastructure.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Valtiq and its officers, employees, and contractors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service — including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of data, or business decisions made in reliance on a Valtiq report.

In no event shall our total liability to you for all claims related to the Service exceed the amount you paid to Valtiq in the 12 months preceding the claim (in most cases, $99).

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Valtiq from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) information you submitted to generate a report; or (d) your violation of any third-party rights.

12. Third-Party Services

Valtiq integrates with third-party services including Stripe (payments), Supabase (data storage), Resend (email), and Anthropic (AI generation). Your use of the Service is also subject to the terms and privacy policies of these providers where applicable. We are not responsible for the actions, content, or policies of third-party services.

13. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or any other conduct we determine to be harmful to Valtiq or other users. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections 6, 8, 10, and 11 survive termination.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email to registered users and by updating the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Florida, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.
